Thank you Nancy , as much as I love black and white I couldnt resist the colours on this one :-) Thanks Stephen :-) Thanks rubenlois that is a good saying they have in Spain :-)
I am from and live in the North of England. Though based amongst the hills and moors which I find so inspiring, my work also reflects my time spent living in America, I love working with camera or paintbrush.

As I sat by a campfire I heard a wolf howling, close enough to know that I was within its territory, it was one of a pack but if I was to portray a wolf in one of my paintings it would be that one, I know that wolf, by hearing it in the wild I am connected to it. My paintings and photographs of the nude in nature depict this connection, this freedom. When I go to the wild and lonely places and walk naked I feel a spiritual connection to nature. The images are based on reality, my own experiences in my homeland of England and when I lived in the Rocky Mountain Country in America. These experiences have inspired my art, my art is an adventure.
THE PHOTOGRAPHS
As many artists do, I began taking photographs as reference for my paintings. But after a while the photographs also became the art: another way of expressing myself.I now love to work with both, the photographs and the paintings :-) This blog is specificaly for the photographs .
Love this version, as well, with a hint of color!
ReplyDeleteVery mysterious Morgaine. The reddish branches and brush adds a disquieting feel to the picture drawing me into it.
ReplyDeleteIt is said in Spain that a good cloak everything it covers. Brilliant(genial) photography. It(he,she) is of fairy-tale. Congratulations.
